Your whole first day is free, and if it’s your first time doing Jiu Jitsu, your introduction lesson is free as well. You’re more than welcome to come back anytime, but the visitor fees will apply after this first trial day.

Here are the steps to getting started:

Show up at the gym with enough time to sign a waiver, get changed, and be ready to begin.
We have water for purchase, as well as soap, towels, Powerade, locks for the lockers, Jiu Jitsu uniforms, and other merchandise.
Wearing shorts and a t-shirt is great for your first day! Keep in mind that if you plan on wearing leggings/spats, you will be required to wear shorts or pants over them.
Once you’re changed and ready to start, we will begin your Introduction lesson! It’ll provide you with a framework of all Jiu Jitsu, and an understanding of the submissions, so that you can safely participate in regular class, and follow along with normal instruction. This introduction normally takes up to 45mins to complete, at which point you’re invited to join the regular classes that day. Taking the regular class is of course optional.
After trying out your free trial jiu jitsu class, feel free to visit the desk with any remaining questions you might have! We encourage trying out as many different gyms as makes sense for you, before committing to a membership. It’s important to find a place you feel is the best fit for you and your goals. That being said, we’re thrilled to have you trying out our gym and hope you have a wonderful experience doing Jiu Jitsu!
